KRA, NSSF & SHIF Compliance

PAYE, NSSF, SHIF and the Housing Levy calculated at current rates, with the returns generated for filing.

Kenyan statutory deductions change, and they do not change together. NSSF moved to tiered contributions, NHIF became SHIF, the Housing Levy arrived — each on its own schedule, each requiring every payslip in the affected period to be right.

StepUp holds each rate, band and relief as versioned data against the date it takes effect. A mid-year change applies from that date forward without rewriting the runs before it, so last year’s payslips still reconcile against last year’s rules when someone asks.

What it does

PAYE
Calculated against current KRA bands with personal relief and insurance relief applied.
NSSF Tier I and II
Tiered contributions with the correct ceilings per tier.
SHIF and Housing Levy
Applied at current rates, with the minimum contribution rules respected.
Returns generated
P9 forms and statutory returns produced from the same run that made the payslips.
